Founded in 1907 as Army National Bank and headquartered in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Armed Forces Bank as it was later rebranded is proudly serving active-duty, veterans, retirees, DOD, civilians, and their families in all 50 states and around the world for more than 115 years.

Armed Forces Bank was named one of the five strongest large banks in Kansas City for 2022 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The ranking was based on several factors including problem-loan ratio, core-capital ratio, loan-to-deposit ratio, and more. We are honored to be recognized for this accomplishment, and will continue to provide our clients with the highest level of service and expertise.
