How Our Armed Forces Bank Access Rewards Checking Helps You Save

For many of us, we use our checking accounts every single day. They help us manage our finances, pay for all kinds of expenses, and help us work toward our goals. But our new Armed Forces Bank Access Rewards Checking Account has even more features than the typical checking account. It’s designed to give you big rewards as it helps you save, monitor, and protect at the same time.

We’re creating a three-part series focusing on each feature of our new Access Rewards Checking account. This is part one: save.

How Access Rewards Checking Helps You Save

Big rewards, big protection -- the Armed Forces Bank Access Rewards Checking account serves up a big share of both. These rewards are designed to help you save money on your everyday purchases and more.

Save: Travel and Leisure Discounts

While we all have our personal financial goals, such as building up our emergency funds or saving for retirement, it doesn’t mean we aren’t allowed to have fun. Spending our money on things that improve our lives, 4 Tips for Planning your Summer Travel this Year and other leisure activities, is important, too.

At Armed Forces Bank, we understand that importance. And we want to make sure you’re rewarded even when making travel and leisure purchases, with the discounts you deserve.

Our Access Rewards Checking Account provides money-saving discounts from thousands of local and national businesses. All you have to do is redeem and print coupons online or access discounts from a mobile device. (Available via mobile or web only. Mobile carrier fees may apply.)

Save: $hopping Rewards

Have you ever wished you could be rewarded simply for doing your shopping online? Now you can. As a member of $hopping Rewards, you’ll get access to exclusive offers and discounts at thousands of leading online retailers.

All you have to do is shop online with our customized shopping portal. And you’ll get cash back. It’s as simple as that! (Registration/activation required; available via mobile or web only. Mobile carrier fees may apply.)

Save: Health Care Expenses

We all know that healthcare is expensive. But with our new Access Rewards Checking account, you could get discounts on your health care expenses.*

You can enjoy savings on vision, prescriptions and dental services. While this is NOT insurance, every little bit that you can save adds up. (registration/activation required)

Save: Debit Card for Kids and Teens

One of the most valuable ways we can prepare our children for the future is by teaching them to be financially smart. There’s no perfect way to teach kids about money.

But anything you do to bring personal finance a little closer to them when they’re young can help set them up for success in the future. And remember: the earlier you start, the better off they’ll be.

Help your kids and teens get started by setting them up with their own debit card. With the Armed Forces Bank Access Rewards Checking Account, you can help your kids learn financial responsibility. But you also get access to their account to ensure they have parental oversight. (registration/activation required)
