Travis financial institution honored by the Air Force

The Reporter profiled the Air Force naming Armed Forces Bank at Travis Air Force Base as “Distinguished Bank of the Year.”

Armed Forces Bank was recognized for its leadership in serving military service members and their families with a vast array of banking services, installation support and financial education.

AFB was also the only bank of 144 financial institutions to earn the Military Saves “Designation of Savings Excellence.”

To help military clients effectively manage their finances no matter where they are, Armed Forces Bank created the HERO and Access Loan Programs, which offer advantageous financing options and the opportunity to establish roots.

The military bank also recently launched the Militarily Speaking podcast, which shares stories and offers insights about financial practices to help service members get ahead.
