2021 Military Holiday Spending Survey Reveals How Military Respondents Are Approaching Holiday Shopping Given Potential for Supply Chain Issues and Empty Shelves (American Press)




LEAVENWORTH, Kan., Nov. 29, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Armed Forces Bank – a full-service military bank committed to serving those who serve since 1907 – today released its first annual holiday survey to its military customers, revealing how military respondents are approaching holiday shopping given potential for supply chain issues and empty shelves (see accompanying infographic). The poll surveyed 284 individuals and found that 63.7% fell in to a "concerned" or "very concerned" category (chose a 6 or above on scale of 1-10) about shipping times and product availability – and that 57.7% have already started their holiday shopping. As far as gifts, 29.1% of respondents will be purchasing holiday gifts for 10+ people, with 35.7% of shopping being conducted online, 31.8% in-store, and 32.5% doing both – and 57.4% of military personnel prefer to give gifts over gift cards.
