Will I receive a Visa debit card and paper checks with this account?
A Visa debit card is included with the Safe Spending Checking Account, but paper checks are not. If you wish to purchase paper checks you can do so at any time by logging into Digital Banking, select Services > Check Reorder. You can also call or visit a branch for assistance.
Is there a monthly service charge?
Yes, there is a $5 monthly service charge for Safe Spending Checking Accounts.
Does this account have fees?
Other than the monthly recurring service charge, the fees are based on your decisions. In-network ATMs are free, but if you choose to use an out-of-network ATM there is a $2.50 fee. If you choose to receive paper statements instead of eStatements, there is a $5 paper statement fee.
In addition, if you choose to use Cash2Debit* services to make cash deposits with your debit card at participating retailers, a $4.95 fee may apply.
