Recruit Access Checking Account FAQs


You can open a Recruit Access Checking Account at 17 years old without a parent or guardian cosigner. 
There are no monthly service charges when you make a direct deposit each statement cycle. Otherwise, a $12 monthly service charge applies.  If you are signed up for eStatements, your statements are free. However, if you want paper statements there is a monthly $5 paper statement fee. Other miscellaneous fees, including overdraft fees, may also apply. 
Step 1: Fill out the Signature Card (PDF) and email or fax it back to us with a copy of your ID. View our list of Acceptable Forms of ID (PDF) to open an account.
 
Step 2: We will call you with an account number within minutes! We will also send you your debit card. If you are a quick ship, we can overnight a debit card to you!
 
Step 3: Print the Direct Deposit Form (PDF) and take to Basic Training or submit to your Finance Office
Yes, you have free unlimited access to the 38,000+ ATMs in the MoneyPass Network. (MoneyPass Network ATMs are in the U.S. only)
Yes, you can get military early pay with this account. Direct deposit is required, and the maximum ACH credit is $15,000.00.
